Colorful Patient rooms

Project at:

Swiss Center for Design and Health, Biel

In collaboration with the Swiss Centre for Design and Health, I tested the evidence-based colour concepts in four real health room settings: single-bed patient rooms, long-term care rooms, and home care environments. Each room featured unique colour atmospheres with carefully coordinated materials and lighting. Here, you can see sections of these rooms, showcasing the practical application of my research.

This long-term care room is designed around a warm colour concept that evokes sensations of sunset, desert, and overall well-being. The chosen color palette, combined with carefully selected materials and lighting settings, has been exceptionally well-received by visitors, enhancing the space's welcoming and comforting ambiance.
